Kirsters Baish| Verbal attacks on President Donald Trump have not ceased, and in fact they are getting even worse. It doesn’t look like this kind of disrespect will be stopping anytime soon. It is very unfortunate that so many Americans are disrespectful of our President when his only goals are to help restore America to the great country it once was. No matter what the Left wants us to think, Trump truly is a man of his word, but they will do anything in their power to brainwash Americans into thinking otherwise. It should seem obvious to everyone that these attacks on our Commander in Chief are totally fabricated and beyond ridiculous. While we understand that the Left is going to continue to attack Trump, it is completely out of no where when a conservative like Jeff Flake comes on the scene to attack him. This is a big issue.
And Ted Cruz is well aware of this issue. He has just come out swinging by firing back at the GOP and their ridiculous attempts at fighting President Donald Trump. He made an appearance on a radio show in order to discuss what is going on in our country.
Cruz went on the conservative radio show Wednesday and was quoted saying, “It’s like you’re back in junior high… we’ve got a job to do, dammit, and so all of this nonsense, I got nothing to say on it. Everyone shut up and do your job, is my view.”
Cruz wasn’t finished there, however. He continued on to explain how Americans are truly sick and tired of the failure of Republicans to pass policies that have been promised to the people of America for a long time now. President Trump is working towards making these ideas a reality, but he is being fought every step of the way… and by conservatives no less!
Cruz continued on to say, “Well I think it’s unfortunate the nastiness that pervades Washington now and political battles of personality that consume seemingly every minute of the media attention and an awful lot of time and energy here in this town.”
It was after this statement that Cruz averted his attention back to the fake conservatives that have seats in Congress currently. He placed blame on the failures on the part of Republicans who couldn’t pass the ObamaCare repeal.
It doesn’t take a genius to realize that there is a huge issue with the GOP right now. Their constant attacks on President Trump, the conservative president who stepped up to clean up the mess former President Barack Obama left, are unacceptable. We have waited 8 long years under Barack Obama to have someone come into office who would actually have the best interest of the American people at heart. Now that we have Trump in office, Republicans seem unable to join together to get the most important policies passed. I don’t always agree with Cruz, but this time he had a lot of important things to say. It’s time we all start listening.
